How it started
Brew Lane began in a garage in Kalyani Nagar, where Aarav and Naina roasted beans on a second-hand machine and gave away more coffee than they sold. Neither of them had run a café before; they'd just spent a year arguing about what filter coffee should taste like, and decided Pune deserved an answer.
Word travelled faster than the roastery could keep up with. Within a year, friends of friends were queuing on the actual lane for a cup that tasted like nothing else in the city. In 2021 they moved two streets over to Koregaon Park and opened the doors properly — same beans, same recipe, an actual café built around it.
The roasting still happens in the back room, in full view of anyone at the counter. Everything on the menu is made within walking distance of where you're sitting.
